Sun Mountain Yabuli

China’s premier and most well known destination ski resort, Sun Mountain Yabuli is located two and a half hours south east of Harbin with a population of approximately 9.8 million people, via a newly completed freeway. A dedicated train between Harbin and the resort was opened in December of 2007 and reduces travel time to ninety minutes.

Sun Mountain Yabuli features spectacular skiing and other snow sports, complimented by state of the art snowmaking and fully imported heated, high-speed gondolas and chair lifts. Wonderful restaurants, boutique shopping, spas, café’s and nightlife together with new five-star accommodations in two resort hotels and a unique mountain top boutique hotel are all now fully under construction and will be completed by the end of 2008. As testimony to the international quality of Sun Mountain Yabuli the resort will host the World Winter University Games in early 2009.

During the summer, visitors can enjoy hiking, tennis, zip lining, luxury camping, horse riding and mountain biking. The resort currently features the longest alpine slide in all of China. Sun Mountain Yabuli resort also operates a number of wilderness schools including photography and painting on a pre-booked basis beginning Summer 2009. 

Sun Mountain Yabuli also offers the first opportunity in China to invest in resort real estate within a true four-season mountain environment. Fully furnished and luxuriously appointed slope-side, “ski in, ski out” resort homes will be available for sale this summer.
